FAQ

If your questions aren’t answered here , please contact us at Teacuppuppies4sale. We’re happy to help!

Teacups do not exists per say. We call them as such because of their tiny in size and usually they are the runt of the litter . ( the smallest born out of a litter ). Often times , a teacup is born  from 2 smaller parents ( mom & dad ) which can easily weigh  4 lbs or less and so , they are considered under the norm in size  and so , they are nicknamed ” teacup” size puppies .

As a matter of fact , we potty train all our puppies at a very young age. By the time they arrive to their new adoptive homes, they are already familiar with the newspaper /wee pads smell .We work with them to go potty on their wee pads while they play and after they are done with their meal and  so , once they
do arrive to your new home, we suggest that you continue with the newspaper /wee pad training, always taking into consideration that your puppy should always be supervised .We suggest a play pen , which is a closed in area, where your puppy could continue to learn his/her potty training in a controlled area. Never give your new puppy the run of the house , just be aware that he/she will need time to re-Adapt to his new home . Also make sure to read and get the modern puppy apparently , it is such a blessing and it works!!

We feed all of our teacup puppies Holistic & Organic foods which are beneficial to their health. We vary from Buffalo Blue to Earthborne Vantage dry food, small bites for puppies under 12 months and sometimes we mix it with Royal Canin. We do encourage that when you receive your puppy, to make sure that they are eating. So always have a few wet can food for your puppy, anything to entice them to eat the first few days upon their new arrival .We keep out teacup puppies in a playpen  . Where they socialise, play and have plenty of room all day , everyday and dont feel confined to a closed in area. One side they have their weepads/litter box , and on the other side they have their own individual beds and water and food bowl

We leave food and water by their sides at all times. We NEVER put our teacups on a feeding schedule. Because of their tiny sizes, they need to eat  when their hunger strikes.

We never cage our puppies , we keep our teacup puppies in large play pens when we travel with them or their own play room for playtime throughout the day .  The play area is designated just for our puppies , where they socialise, play and have plenty of room to run all day , everyday and don’t feel confined to a closed in area. One side they have their newspaper/weepad / litter box , and on the other side they have their own individual beds and water and food bowls.

Absolutely Not ! As you can see we don’t have 50 puppies at one given time,
which only means that we DO NOT run a puppy mill . All of our Teacup puppies are
hand raised, socialized and run free in our home. We show on every video  , how
they live amongst us in our home. They are potty trained, socialized and
showered with lots of love & affection. When they arrive to their new home, they transition very well and they adapt to their new home immediately . Our puppies , are well cared for , vet check and we stand behind the quality and health of all of our puppies.

We understand your concerns,  and to be honest , the size of the puppy does not determine the health of a puppy. Any breed or size can have health issues. One can depend on the type of breeding and two , the way the puppy is cared for . Unfortunately  a lot of puppy mills “in breed”  and sell small puppies without concerns of their health and well being , which causes them to have many congenital defects and such . Smaller breeds tend to be more fragile and must be handled with care !! Your puppy will come with instructions on how to care for it and things to avoid and things to look for , which will  protect it from any health hazards that may arise. We personally take the time to have our puppies vet check multiple times prior to their adoption , our puppies are on a strict de-worning & vaccination schedule and we also make sure that they are checked physically for any health issues.

Most Puppies have similar personalities, usually they are fearless, friendly ,
loving and social. Once they go to  their new homes, it is the responsibility of
their new owners to treat them with respect and raise them properly. A dog
becomes the reflection of the owner. So the way you will treat it and raise
it,  is going to be the way your dog will learn to respect you and its surroundings. We recommend patience and avoiding any types of violent behavior such as verbal or physical to ensure your puppy grows to be confident , loving and trusting , just like you would do your own child.

The sex of the puppy is a personal choice, there is no difference , either sex can
make the best pet. Again its the way that you will raise them that will make the
difference between a good pet or not. We have noticed that male tend to be more attentive to a woman and a male tends to be more attentive toward a woman owner. This doesn’t apply in all cases , but we see a recurrencein new owners.Regardless if this theory is true or false , the truth is , when your teacup is
neutered or spayed it does help the male to be less territorial and it eliminates the females from having her heat cycle which occurs every 6 months.

We recommend that you do , but we strongly suggest that you wait until they are a
year old and over  so that they are a little more mature, and bigger and more
ready for the anesthesia that will be administered. Please keep in mind that there
is always a risk to put your tiny teacup under anesthesia,so make sure you bring
your puppy to a reputable vet , that has experience with tiny teacup puppies.

Most of our TeaCup puppies are either Akc or Ckc registered. Unfortunately , we no longer give the registrations papers, because we are selling our puppies as pets only . Our puppies are way too tiny to breed and therefore We strongly believe that breeding a micro or  teacup size puppy ,can  potential be deadly . As a result , we no longer give papers with our puppies.

We always like to know about the families that will be adopting our new teacup babies. We interview in person or on the phone all of the potential adoptive families. We do (in some occasions), deny a family from owning/purchasing one of our little babies based on our intuition, feelings and interviews .It is important
that the adoptive families understand that they need to be compatible, we look at history , family , work , and time away from home etc..we only want the best for our teacups and we strive to give them the best loving & safe environment , that they deserve as they have had here among us, in our home.

Our prices reflect the time devoted for their care , the size, the quality and rarity
of the breed. It is very hard to find a tiny teacup. The smaller the puppy, the more
fragile, the more care they need, more supervision ,love and attention they will
need, and most of the time, they cannot be adopted until they are ten to twelve
weeks of age. We give them 24 hrs care around the clock and we make sure they
are 100% healthy before they go to their new homes which will ultimately  affect the price.

We will make sure that you receive documentation prior to leaving on what to do , what to purchase and what to have handy for your pets new arrival .It can be  very stressful for a puppy to
travel either via cargo or even via Nanny Service . So first , upon their arrival we
recommend  to let them be, and let them rest plenty . Also we recommend that you give them a
finger full of  Nutri-cal   or Nutri-stat (which is a oral supplement) which gives them
vitamins & energy , and contains a boost of sugar and vitamins, which helps their blood sugar to regulate and
helps them recover from their long flight, and it also nourishes them if they were too
nervous to eat during the flight. We recommend to let them rest , with plenty of fresh water
and food, and let them adjust to their new environment.  More info is given prior to their arrival as well.
